INTRODUCTION

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Operations Co -Ordinator to join Plus 4 Audio, working alongside the Operations Manager and a highly experienced team. This is a full-time junior role offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain hands-on experience across a wide variety of projects and build a strong technical foundation. Initially, the role will be primarily based at Plus 4 Audio in Chessington, with one or more days per week at Britannia Row in Brooklands, Weybridge. You will work closely with colleagues across both locations, building strong working relationships with the wider Operations team. Plus 4 Audio will be moving into our Brooklands location in around 18 months time.The Operations team sits at the heart of the business, working with Sales teams and Department Heads to design and deliver technical solutions that meet our client requirements. The team also works closely with the warehouse to ensure equipment is prepared accurately and on time, while collaborating with Clair Global companies and brands around the world to deliver exceptional service. As a Junior Operations Co-ordinator, you will support the planning and delivery of projects from initial enquiry to completion. You'll help coordinate resources, contribute to technical planning an d play an important part in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the high standards our clients expect.

R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S  A N D  D U T I E S :

  • Collaborate, and communicate effectively, within the department and the wider team
  • Play a key role in planning project execution — i.e. rack drawings, cabling systems, logistics —while ensuring effective allocation of equipment from our global inventory, or through sub-hire when needed
  • Oversee dry hires, from quoting the client, through to delivery and return of the equipment
  • Using our inventory management software, you’ll help optimise resources and support seamless project delivery
  • Source, negotiate and organise trucking, couriers, air/sea freight and any other logistical moves required, including customs documentation, while working effectively with the logistics team
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relations within the organisation, Crew, Clients, and other industry suppliers
  • Any other work deemed necessary for the smooth running of the department, and the business.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION & SKILLS:

  • Demonstrates a serious and committed approach to their role, consistently showing diligence,reliability, and professionalism in all aspects of their work
  • Good knowledge of live sound audio systems, and venue set-ups is desirable
  • Some experience in concert touring, corporate events, or television environments is desirable
  • Highly organised with excellent planning, time management, and IT skills (Microsoft Office +basic CAD)
  • Precise, thorough, and accountable, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
  • Clear communicator - both written and verbal
  • Confident working in fast-paced, high-pressure, and constantly changing environments
  • Enjoys working and collaborating in a team
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to solve problems quickly while following establishedprocesses

Normal working hours are 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with weekend working and additional hours as the business requires.
