2016 Brit Awards

The 2016 Brit Awards were held on 24 February 2016, the 36th edition of the annual awards.


The awards ceremony was held at The O2 in London presented by Ant & Dec. The nights performances included the award winning Adele herself who the night belonged to having been presented with four Brit Awards.


The show also featured Rihanna who performed her current hit 'Work' with Drake, Brit award winners Coldplay who had kicked off the show performing ' Hymn For The Weekend' and who scooped the British Group award. Performances also from Jess Glynne, Justin Bieber, Little Mix and James Bay.


A special moment in the show came in the form of a moving tribute to late British music icon David Bowie featuring an introduction by Annie Lennox, a tribute speech by Gary Oldman and a performance by Lorde backed by Bowie's long-time backing group.


Britannia Row has a long established relationship with the Brit Awards and this year marks 21 consecutive years providing audio for the show.
