The Brit Awards

This year’s Brit Awards were held on Wednesday 20th February 2013 at The O2 Arena, London.

Britannia Row were there for another year to provide the sound for an evening of awards and performances from artists such as Taylor Swift, Robbie Williams, Muse, Ben Howard, One Direction, Mumford and Sons, Emeli Sandé and Justin Timberlake.Sound designer Derrick Zieba, who’s been working on the Brit Awards since 1994, specified the K1 with Kudo system that has suited the audio needs of the new home of the Awards at London’s O2 Arena since its move from Earls Court in 2011. To accommodate the artists appearing the consoles supplied were 2 Midas Pro6, 1 Digico SD7, 2 Avid Profiles.

Our Crew, with Crew Chief Dee Miler at the helm, delivered yet another smoothly run show, watched by as many as 6.5 million viewers – its biggest TV audience in over a decade.
