Job Title: Senior Warehouse Technician  – Technical Department

Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 depending on experience

Britannia Row Productions is a world class audio rental company supplying high end audio equipment and skilled audio engineers to global music tours, sporting and corporate events. As part of the US based Clair Global group of companies we are now in an exciting period of growth and require an additional Warehouse Technician to join our fast paced Technical Department

What will you do?

Reporting to the Head of Technical and Warehouse Manager, the Senior Warehouse Technician  will be involved in all aspects of the running of the Technical Department including managing and maintaining the diverse digital audio equipment, Prepping and De-prep analogue and digital equipment.

The main job tasks will include:

 Collaborating with the HOD to ensure the allocation of digital equipment to various projects

  • Responsible for Prepping digital equipment to a high departmental standard prior to use on jobs, including:
    • Testing, fault finding and evaluating digital equipment to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose
    • Maintenance, cleaning and repair of all department equipment
  • Responsible for De prepping digital equipment after use on jobs including;
    • Testing, fault finding and evaluating digital equipment to ensure all equipment is returned to storage in good working order
    • Maintenance, cleaning and repair of all department equipment
  • Supplying technical support to Warehouse Staff and freelance crew
  • Stock control using bespoke rental management software systems
  • PAT Testing
  • Managing staff working in the department
  • Training staff going through the department to contribute to their professional development and monitoring their progress.
  • Any other work deemed necessary for the smooth running of the department and the Warehouse
  • Provide cover for H.O.D.

 What Skills and experience do we want?

  •  2-3 years’ experience
  • Computer/software literate
  • Previous electronics knowledge
  • Knowledge of Live Sound industry
  • I.T. and networking skills
  • Knowledge of digital consoles, networking, and Pro Audio equipment
  • Possess strong communication and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and expand skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Have a strong problem solving abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to work extended hours and week end when required

Standard working hours are 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday but you will may need to work extended hours and some weekends.
