Since its formation in 1975, Britannia Row Productions has provided audio design, equipment and technical support staff for musical concert tours and events throughout the world and is acknowledged to be one of the world’s leaders in this field.

We are seeking applicants for the position of Warehouse Technician to assist in our Digital department at our Warehouse in Twickenham.

With a background in live sound, you will need have knowledge and experience of setting up digital audio mixing consoles, digital networking, other digital audio equipment and wireless microphone and personal monitoring systems are required for this role.


Main purpose of job:

Reporting to the Head of Digital, the Warehouse Technician will be involved in all aspects of the running of the Digital Department including managing and maintaining the diverse digital audio equipment.

The main job tasks will include:


  • Collaborating with the Head of Department (HOD) to ensure the allocation of digital equipment to various projects
  • Responsible for prepping digital equipment to a high departmental standard prior to use on jobs, including:
    • Testing, fault finding and evaluating digital equipment to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose
    • Maintenance, cleaning and repair of all department equipment
  • Responsible for de-prepping digital equipment after use on jobs, including;
    • Testing, fault finding and evaluating digital equipment to ensure all equipment is returned to storage in good working order
    • Maintenance, cleaning and repair of all department equipment
  • Supplying technical support to Warehouse Staff and freelance crew
  • Stock control using bespoke rental management software systems
  • PAT Testing
  • Managing staff working in the department
  • Training staff going through the department to contribute to their professional development and monitoring their progress.
  • Any other work deemed necessary for the smooth running of the department and the Warehouse
  • Provide cover for H.O.D.


The ideal person:


  • Computer/software literate
  • Previous electronics knowledge
  • T. and networking skills
  • Knowledge of digital consoles, networking, radio equipment and pro audio equipment
  • Knowledge of RF handheld and IEM systems
  • Possess strong communication and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and expand skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Have a strong problem solving abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to work extended hours and week end when required
  • Knowledge of Live Sound industry



Salary range £25,000 to £35,000 and negotiable depending on experience
