Britannia Row Director Mike Lowe explains "Britannia Row FOH control and monitors were used for the tour (Digico SD7 in the house and an SSL 500 on monitors). We combined forces with Clearwing Productions out of Milwaulkee for the tour who provided the L- Acoustics K1 / K2 speaker system.
We came back from New York and into the Royal Albert Hall for David to play on the final night of this year’s Teenage Cancer Trust concerts on Sunday 24th April. There is a month’s break when we go back into rehearsals with him on 29th May before a European tour through to 28th July. The ‘Rattle That Lock tour is due to come to a close with a run of Royal Albert Hall shows in September.
The new L-Acoustics KS-28 sub and the new L-Acoustics LA12X delivering 13,200 watts each were used for the first time on the US leg. We all love the new subs and amps which will now figure in the PA for the summer European tour and the Royal Albert Hall shows".
